China Rally Championship Rd.2 -Mohe-
D.Higgins dominates and has 7th consecutive win!
The 2nd round of the China Rally Championship was held in Mohe, in the northern region of China, very close to the Russian border. With 6 consecutive wins, Type Gr.N equipped D.Higgins was ready for round 2 but the conditions couldn't be any worse. The setups were made in freezing conditions with temperatures between -4ºC to -8ºC, but that was not the end of it, cold rain continuously fell.

The course in Mohe included long straight sections and high speed corners. TEIN engineers changed the Type Gr.N set up from tarmac to gravel, and made necessary adjustments to the settings to start the tests. At the end of the testing sessions, D.Higgins' response was "great!"

D.Higgins started SS1 in 2nd place only trailing by 5 seconds. He gradually raised his pace and finished day 1 in 1st position with a 2min 30sec lead. D.Higgins started day 2 in top position and continued to dominate the rally. FIA official regulations only allow an average speed of 130km/h, but in the CRC anything goes. Unfortunately SS7 and SS8 were judged to be too dangerous and were cancelled. As a result D.Higgins was awarded his 7th consecutive win! D.Higgins said TEIN's performance was "great!" The TEIN equipped VW Sagitar (Jetta) in S3 class finished in 3rd and 5th positions.
With new settings ready for the Type Gr.N we are all looking forward to all TEIN users aiming for further success in the next round.
