Rd.6 of Civic Inter Series took place in Sportsland SUGO. Instead of high speed course which continued from Rd.2, now the battle shifts to a course with opposite characteristic, which includes many up and downs hills and tight corners. In the qualifying round, the time difference among the leading group closed in as it proceeded, with 9 cars closely packed within only 1sec. Out of TEIN users, Matsui finished 2^nd with only 0.004sec behind the leader, and Kobayashi, Mizukoshi, and Goto following him respectively.

 

In the final race, there were no movement on the opening lap, but in the 1st corner of lap 2, Mizukoshi passed Kobayashi to move up in 3^rd spot. The heated battle continued, but on lap 9, Mizukoshi takes the corner too wide and flies off course losing his position all the way to last place. Kobayashi, who once passed by Goto takes back his lead and finished in 3^rd place. Matsui continued to chase the leader, but was unable to catch up and finished in 2^nd place, so the series title will still be undecided until the upcoming final round.
