Rd.4 of China Touring Car Championship was held between August 15^th and 16^th in Beijing Golden Port Circuit. This course has been favorable to TEIN users, since they have accomplished 1-2 finish in the 3^rd round of previous season, but that may not be the case this year due to numerous changes in the regulations. The qualifying times were not good as they have expected, and 6^th place position was the highest among TEAM FRD.

 

From the early stage of the final race, Car No.10 FRD Focus who started out in 6^th position takes on 3 cars at once and moves up to 3^rd spot. On lap16, he takes on Car No.2 GZ HONDA Accord to move up in 2^nd position, and the race heats up even more. Car No.10 FRD Focus shows outstanding performance and catches up to the leader, but he was just 0.3 seconds shy and settled for 2^nd place finish. Car No.11 FRD Focus who started from the back moved up his position with steady pace throughout the race, and finished in 6^th place.

 

Days later, Car No.10 FRD Focus has been judge that his maneuver was too aggressive, and all of his points were deducted. As result Car No.11 FRD Focus moved up a spot and ended in 5^th place.

 

Rd.5 will be held in Guangdong International Circuit between October 24^th and 25^th. We must hold our heads up high and prepare for upcoming challenges, so stay with us for more action from TEAM FRD and TEIN!
