Round 6, "Acropolis Rally of Greece" of P-WRC (Production World Rally Championship) was held between June 12^th and 14^th. Event took place 100km west of Athens, the capital of Greece near Loutraki.

 

Each day, the temperature reached over 40 degree Celsius, and it was very tough on the crew, the vehicle, and the whole team throughout the event. P.Flodin, driving GRB Impreza equipped with TYPE Gr.N damper was to face many challenges from the beginning.

 

SS1 and SS2 were troubled by instability of the vehicle, and were not able to gain pace, finishing 8^th. After SS3, ride height and damping force were adjusted and stability has been improved, but wanting to avoid the possibility of overheating and tire melting during the race, they decided to run cautiously and finish 8^th overall at end of DAY1.

 

After finishing 3^rd in SS6, they gained pace attempting to move up their position, but at SS8, they faced tire puncture which cost them some time. The puncture caused the differentials to malfunction, so the gearbox has been replaced during the midday service, but they were unable to outperform their competitors, and ended the day finishing 12^th overall.

 

Still being affected by the problem arose in DAY1, he kept on pushing to finish 8^th overall in DAY3. Despite many challenges they faced, P.Flodin was able to overcome many obstacles to earn a point this round.

 

Next race will be held in Rally Australia, and wait for more action from P.Flodin and TYPE Gr.N damper.
