Unfortunate End for Ishida

Expectations were high for Ishida in the first gravel event of the season driving his TYPE Gr.N equipped Lancer Evo.X (CZ4A). And he delivered with a great performance on the first stage by finishing 0.1 second behind the leader. However disaster struck in stage 2 as he damaged his oil cooler and engine. “I really don’t remember hitting anything…” he commented. Unfortunately he was unable to keep fighting on, and eventually had to retire from the rally.

The next round, “Rally Hokkaido” will be held form June 21st – 23rd in Hokkaido, so stay tuned for more exciting action from all TEIN users.
