All Japan Rally Championships Rd.5 2010 Rally in Shiribeshi
Unfortunate end for Ishida

The fifth round of the 2010 All Japan Rally Championships (JRC) “2010 Rally in Shiribeshi” was held from July 16th to 18th around Kutchan-cho, Hokkaido. The rally was a 101km gravel rally and fine weather blessed the event.

In JN4 Class, Ishida equipped with the TYPE Gr.N Damper, started the rally well by setting the second fastest time in the first stage. Unfortunately he had some lingering machine trouble making him unable to improve on his times, and forced him down the order. During the service, he undertook immediate repairs, but during SS7 he drove off course. He did not suffer too much damage however he was unable to get back on the course forcing him to retire from the rally.

Stay tuned for more action as the next round is the “Shinshiro Rally 2010” held from 24th to 26th July in Aichi Prefecture.
