All Japan Rally Championships Rd.4 - Himuka Rally 08 In Misato -
Ishida Regretfully Retires Due to Machine Trouble
Round 4 of the All Japan Rally Championships were held in the surrounding areas of Misato, Miyazaki Prefecture. The weather was humid as the rain came down everyday and the temperatures rose above 20 degrees.
 
Last rounds winner, Ishida, drove well from the start setting the best time in SS1. He had problems with his center differential becoming free due to trouble with the ACD during SS2, but he pushed on hard to also set the best times in SS2 and SS4.
Unfortunately, during SS7 he suffered machine trouble and had to retire from the rally. Other TEIN user, Tokuo, fought hard in the rally to earn good points and finish in 4th.
