Rd.2 of Civic Inter Series was held at Suzuka Circuit which recently has gone through some renewal works. During qualifying round, TEIN user Kobayashi placed 2^nd; Mizukoshi placed 3^rd; and Matsui, and Goto who accomplished 1-2 finish in Rd.1 were to start out in 5^th and 7^th position respectively this round.

 

The final race started out smoothly as Tomoaki, Kobayashi, and Mizukoshi taking 1^st corner while maintaining their position. Matsui closing in on Takashima and they both line up side-by-side taking 1st corner, but they both lose control and fly off course. At same time their vehicle was damaged to a point where they could not get back into the race. The leading pack kept their position and completed the race, resulting in TEIN users to finish 2^nd and 3^rd place.

 

As result, Kobayashi became the point leader, followed by Goto and Mizukoshi, and two TEIN users were able to take the winner’s podium. 3^rd round will also be held here in Suzuka Circuit, so the next race will all depend on how much data and experience gathered in this round be carried over to the next.
