Rd.7 of Finnish Rally Championship was held in Hyvinkaa, located in southern Finland. This is the final round of this season, and even though the series title has already been decided, J.Salo is ready to perform his best to fine tune his vehicle for the next season.
Just like in Round 6, he kick started his day by giving everything he got from the start. He maintained his concentration and dominated his rivals by more than 30sec. to record his 2nd consecutive win. It was a perfect way to celebrate the season finale, which he finished 2nd place overall.
"The season started well and ended well, but not how we hoped in the middle. We knew that new car takes time to develop, and now we have a solid basis for the next season."comments the co-driver M.Stenberg, who already has his mind set for the upcoming challenges next year.
"Victory is always a victory. Even if the championship title was still undecided, the result of this round would have been the same"comments the driver J.Salo, who has been performing better and better each round.
