All Japan Dirt Trial Championships 
Rd.1 RASCAL SPRING TRIAL in KYUSHU
 
The opening round of the 2010 All Japan Dirt Trial Championships “RASCAL SPRING TRIAL in KYUSHU” was held at “Mobility Oomuta” in Oomuta city, Fukuoka Prefecture on 18th April. The weather was fine before the start but when the event began, the conditions turned and rain started to fall making the conditions very wet.
 
The PN Class was introduced last year and this year Kawashima in the Swift Sport (ZC31S) made a great start by taking the top position in his second run to take the overall debut win.
 
In N3 Class the veteran driver Akaba switched cars to the Lancer Evo.X (CZ4A) from this season. He performed well and showed he still has a lot of potential by finishing in 4th position.
 
In SA2 Class, Kushida who is now 65years old showed everyone that age doesn’t matter as he drove hard and finished in 3rd position.
 
In SC1 Class Kojima in the Civic Type-R (FD2) came well prepared with hours of setting time under his belt during the off season. It all paid off as he came home to finish in 2nd position.
 
Sumiyama who moved from SC3 to D Class this season took the overall win. With more room for modifications to his Lancer now, we look forward to see how fast he can become this season.
 
The next round will be held on May 30th at “Maruwa Autoland Nasu” so stay tuned for more action from all the TEIN users.
