Role of TEIN Adjustable Headlight Leveling Rod
When the ride height is lowered, many of models with self-leveling headlights falsely recognize that only the rear side is lowered (the car is tilted backwards), since the sensor is only attached to the rear end. This causes the headlight axis to be automatically adjusted downward, only to light the near side as a result. With this Adjustable Headlight Leveling Rod installed, the angle of headlight level sensor is corrected close to that of OE, and hence the headlight is kept at appropriate angle.
Upon installation of this product, headlight optical axis must be checked and adjusted as necessary, using appropriate testing device.
