TEIN 4×4 Damper series products, besides the capability to raise height, are full-fledged dampers designed to support adventurous driving across the wilderness, exclusively for cross-country 4x4s and SUVs.
With approx. 40mm (1.5in) lift from stock height as a guideline, each and every damper kit is configured upon thorough and careful study of vehicle characteristics.
From comfortable cruising around town to harsh driving on rocky path, in desert and even on long-distance gravels, sufficient stroke is maintained, on top of well-thought lifted height, to ensure both drivability and durability.

EnduraPro series dampers, TEIN’s OE-shape shock absorbers, are shaped equivalent to OE shocks, to be used with OE springs and upper mounts. They are not only for replacing worn or damaged shocks, but for refreshing and/or improving ride and handling, with original height secured.

TEIN EDFC was the very first in the automotive aftermarket industry to enable damping force adjustment remotely from driver’s seat.
This gadget was developed to utilize damping force adjustment feature, which tends to be left unused due to troublesome process, while driving and around 100K units have been sold so far.
The latest generation, EDFC5, turned this convenient device into even cleverer control apparatus. Jerk-reactive adjustment, developed through industry-academia collaboration with Shibaura Institute of Technology, makes it possible to predict when cornering, acceleration or deceleration is about to start and to make adjustment automatically and proactively. By learning driving behavior, AI feature determines and applies most suitable adjustment patterns, to provide quality ride without sense of discomfort.
